Almas Caviar is the most expensive food in the world. This is the eggs of Albino Sturgeon fish that can be obtained almost once every 100 years. With the amount of one kilogram of eggs, several cars can be bought. Namely US$34,500.

It is harvested from the Iranian Beluga sturgeon. There are some factors that make Almas Caviar.  

The factors include :

The sturgeon must be albino.
Between 60 and 100 years old.
The fish must come from the southern part of the Caspian Sea. 

Because of all of these factors Almas caviar becomes extremely rare and highly expensive.

So it’s clear that the rarity and scarcity of this fish, primarily driven by the declining population of sturgeon, makes it expensive. Sturgeon species have experienced significant declines in their numbers due to overfishing and habitat destruction.

It has pearl white-coloured eggs, a distinct nutty taste of butter and brine, and a unique creamy finish.
